Is there like... a certain date where everyone has to be commited? the real reason i'm asking --> when does mustain finally say he'll be a vol?

I believe hat signing day is the first Wed. in Feb. I may be wrong but recruits can sign after that day.

there is a date you can't go beyond, but is is not signing day. it is sometime in april. i hope we can get some better players than we have or i think we are in serious trouble. can you imagine tennessee with average players and our coaching staff it could be ugly.

Glad somebody else asked the question. I've always meant to be more interested in recruiting and never quite managed it- too much basketball, NFL playoffs, and national jumprope championships going on...

Anybody able to summarize the basics of verbal committment, signing day, and "either let somebody know or the scholarships will be gone and the admission deadlines past" day?

we had a top 3 class last year. a lot of them were red shirted. if we have a couple more years without a bowl we will be in trouble.
