I know this probably goes in the recruiting forum, but it only seems like they pay attention to football recruits.

I was seeing if anyone knew of how we look to finish up the 2011 class given the amount of seniors we lose. I know we had Lekan Ajayi here this past weekend and recently offered Henry Brooks.

Also, who are our big targets we legitimately have a shot at for the 2012 class? It seems as if TN has some highly ranked players in Jarnell Stokes, also here this past weekend and has a brother who currently attends UT, and Alex Poythress out of Clarksville. Any chance we can get in on Shaq Goodwin?

Thanks for your help! GBO!

i don't think anyone will sign with u t until this stuff is settled. why come here if they will be on a team that is on probation.

Stokes is high on UT, I think he will commit in the summer or fall. Maybe waiting for the summer hearing or whenever we go before the NCAA.

I would really love to have Stokes. Hopefully we can start a trend with the instate kids with Jones and maybe Stokes and/or Poythress

The only way we pick up anymore decent recruits is if the kids are high on UT like Stokes is and waits this junk out. No way I'd come to UT right now with this hanging over. Anyone hear how Ajayi's visit went?

Why would anyone go to USC to play football? Football players are flocking to Southern Cal with all the crap going on there. Before it gets started I dont wanna hear any crap like "because its Southern Cal"......probation is probation no matter where its at.

With all due respect, they do go to USC because it is USC. Until we pump players into the NBA like USC has into the NFL, your argument is fatally flawed.

If I thought I had a chance to make millions of dollars as a football player, USC would absolutely be at the top of my list. Think about it from a basketball perspective. 1 and done = Big $$$. Love him or hate him, Calipari has gotten many kids paid (yes, that statement is dripping with irony). How many have we produced?

I would steer clear of UT until this thing blew over.

It went very well according to an interview with him on TOS. Liked the coaches, players, Knoxville, and UT in general, especially the business school. Still going to take all 5 visits. He's already been to Seaton Hall, and his brother lives very close to their campus. Miami, Fla. State, and one other team who I forget are the others involved. I think he's wide open, but his opinion of UT was very positive.

Is there not a pretty decent guard out of Memphis Melrose coming in next year?

Chris Jones. Good news. I had no idea his bro lived close to S. Hall. Bad news for us. Would be hard to turn down playing in a better conference with family there. Don't know his situation though so Hopefully he comes to UT!

It always helps if your brother already attends UT. Unofficials come far more often

In addition to his brother going to school here, Jarnell Stokes is also very good friends with Cameron Clear.
