The NFL runs the draft hoping for competition across the board. Would it be wrong to limit schools to one 5* and maybe six 4* s?? Each recruiting cycle.

The NFL also has so many penalties in their rule book that they can through a flag on every down and then spend 15 minutes to review it only to still screw it up. Let the NFL keep imploding on itself and leave the NCAA out of deciding how to even out the playing field as much as possible.

Never going to happen, but boy would college football be far more exciting. There would be 15-20 teams with a legit chance of winning a NC every year.

Who would make college programs agree on the rankings of said players?

Warren Burrell was a 4 star to Pruitt while a 3 star to other teams.

This doesn't ever stand the chance of being a real scenario...

If that curmudgeon ran football most coaches would seek employment elsewhere. He would limit their salaries to 50 k per year

That you would even have this thought much less post it makes me quail for our country and future generations.

I suspect you do not understand how completely antithetical to the American ethos this line of thinking is or why you are getting this response. Suffice to say that those responsible for your childhood indoctrination by big brother succeeded in their goal but failed you entirely.

I found out in another thread that boomer is a derogatory term to some. Just cubbyhole me into a class based on one thing, my age. That’s the new norm.
