The NFL also has so many penalties in their rule book that they can through a flag on every down and then spend 15 minutes to review it only to still screw it up. Let the NFL keep imploding on itself and leave the NCAA out of deciding how to even out the playing field as much as possible.

Never going to happen, but boy would college football be far more exciting. There would be 15-20 teams with a legit chance of winning a NC every year.

If this idea came to fruition, you'd see the opposite of the Bama bump. Currently, when Bama offers a player, a 3* becomes a 4*. Under this scenario, a 4* offered by Bama will become a 3*....

Everyone buys players, even mediocre programs. Yes I’m good with the same 5-6 teams gobbling up most of the talent. It’s up to the other institutions to hire better coaches.

Who would make college programs agree on the rankings of said players?

Warren Burrell was a 4 star to Pruitt while a 3 star to other teams.

This doesn't ever stand the chance of being a real scenario...
