We are not Florida. Close games are going to happen, recruits know we are rebuilding and tons of freshmen are on the field tonight, what do you think?

How do you start a new thread. Wanted to post one about how the defense got ripped for over 300 yards passing by a **** team.

Remember Ohio is not a terrible team, they will probably win 8 games. They will be in it til the end for the MAC title. UT looked almost bored out there. They will get up for the Auburn game, trust me. Im not saying we will win it but we will play well.

Dumb post. Ohio through the ball 52 times. We held them to 21 yards rushing on 17 attempts...

Not to mention we lost Reveiz, Lathers, Walker, Thompson, and Rogan for this game on D...

there is always those games where the underdog team stays around . u guys cant get down on tennessee bcuz of one game . every one was was sooo happy bout the florida game but we r missing most of our defensive starters

Geez, that sounds like a Military head count of the men lost........... Obviously Lane inherited a very very very thin team on both sides of the ball. Hell we can't even fill the schollys that are open(due to NCAA), much less build a team. I think CLK has signed on to the TOUGHEST coaching job in America. I mean the Fans are dying for wins, the current talent is thin, 0 depth, Come On !!!!!!

Last year we would have lost this game (see Wyoming). Recruits will see a well coached team with a lot of holes to fill.

Threads like this make NO sense. That LOSS to UCLA sure hurt our recruiting, didnt it? We ONLY got commitments from from 3 Top 150 players the very next day. This game was not nearly as close as the score makes it seem, anyone who actually watched the game knows this. Without that kickoff return and yet another BS interception by JC and this game is a blowout, we cover the spread, and everyone is happy to win the game given the sloppy conditions. A close WIN will never affect our recruiting. Recruits know we need them so that games like this arent close in the future.

Recruits are not dumb. They know Tennessee is not going to win 10 games this year and blow everybody out. They know UT has a crap QB in his last year. They are being sold on the opportunity to come in and contribute right away and be a part of UT's resurgence.
