He is running the Alabama program like they are an NFL team. The only difference is they don't get to draft many players.

Now that the truth is coming to light, parents aren't buying the Saban-fed-BS. 25 players in the SEC have been put on medical hardship since Saban arrived at Alabama. 12 of those are from Tuscaloosa (might as well round that on up to 13 since it is their favorite number).

The players are treated like meat. Perform, or we make you transfer or go on a medical scholarship. Period. If you speak out, you won't get the help of the REC or 1st & 10 Club once you graduate (in other words, no job selling insurance or cars will be given to you).

Promises for PT are made, so guys that loaf keep starting. This upsets team chemistry. See the 2010 Alabama football team for multiple examples.

Then you have guys like Mark Barron and Marcell Dareus openly telling recruits they hate Saban and that he is a liar (sending BJ Scott to South Alabama didn't sit well with the Mobile crew, and you can write that). That usually doesn't win over any kids.

Just maybe this is why some of their coaches are bailing out as well. They just lost another coach and recruiter yesterday!

"FootballScoop has learned that Alabama wide receivers coach Curt Cignetti has accepted the head coaching job at IUP where his father served as the head coach for 20 years and won 14 conference championships." Link

Auburn rivals is the #1 source on bashing bammer. I wouldn't put too much stock in any negative info about bam from the barner rivals site, jmo.

Funny it doesn't seem to be affecting their recruiting , nor will it. The guy has it rolling at Bama and he isn't stopping until someone pays him enough money to leave.

Getting legit info on Bama from an Auburn site is like getting a legit story about the Republicans from a Democrat forum.

Coaches arent going to stay in Bama long. With the success they've had the phone will keep ringing and doors will continuously open up. This thread reminds me of the other one over here about Calipari and how he'll have difficult recruiting now that he yelled and said the F word to a player.

I still don't understand how he has managed to keep Kirby Smart for so long.

Why would a position coach want to accept a head coaching job where his family is well known and respected? Thats crazy. Must be cause he works for satan.

Looks like Ole Miss and Bama neck and neck. He's done it since he got there. If he were anyone else than Saban there would be more of stink over it. Espn wouldn't throw anything negative out there, especially when they have commercials promoting the Tide.

Of course it is slanted coming from Auburn site. But I do think alot of coaches are going to use oversigning against Saban on the recruiting trail.

He does run it like an NFL team. Alot of kids though want to play in the NFL. There are a ton of ways to spin it in either direction. Personally for me, I wouldn't want my son to play for Saban. I would want to send my son to a place where I felt I trusted the coaches to do what was in the best interest of my son. I don't think Saban looks at it at all that way. He is a machine with one thing in mind and that is winning. At any means necessary. He will always have great classes…..

Mark Richt refuses to oversign. And it goes without saying that UGA players are always upstanding young men. That's what I want my son to be.

Until he is not competing for SEC/NC titles and not recruiting top 5 classes, then I will believe it.
