I would have to imagine that many players we're in for are strongly reconsidering. Butch Jones will not get you drafted highly at the next level.

Maybe. i would say it's because people troll Twitter and UT haters would come out of the woodwork t bash them....the "fans" on the Internet have been ruthless enough without adding trolls to the mix.

Btw, I know everyone has a right to complain but after 10 or more posts acting a fool it gets sad.

The recruits are all asking the same question we fans are asking, "Is this program improving or not?"

If it's not, then of course they'll reconsider. No one wants to play for a losing team - not even Pop Warner.

They were probably too busy reading the posts on here about how no recruit will want to come here to tweet anything.

Recruiting in general has seemed to have slowed. Not many recruit tweets and not many interviews lately. The hype is fading.

There is not much going on anywhere; the recruits are in their HS seasons which is why most announce before or after the season so they can focus on their own teams.

17 class is huge and we have the young studs on the roster to make 16 a special season. The 16 class may not be as great as 14 and 15 but depth building and hanging onto JG is huge. Then back twd the top with the 17 class. Imo.

Not sure it has to do with being highly drafted. They want to win as well.

Butch helped Matt Darr become an NFL starter and Michael Palardy actually compete for one. The odds of that in Dooley's last year were not good. In addition to the players in the pros from prior schools.

Yeah thats it. All the recruits read what VN says and bases their decisions solely on that. It has absolutely nothing to do with our atrocious passing game, terrible on field performances and even worse coaching. Its all about VN. Good grief.

I can't imagine that the WR's are going to keep lining up to play for UT when we aren't throwing to them at all though.

We aren't throwing because our Oline will get Dobbs killed. His mobility masks it some and atleast gives us a chance to win using the zone read with Hurd. If he gets hurt we are screwed. Surely being the salesman he is, Butch can make WRs realize that once the line is beefed up and a true passing QB is in place, that we will be more balanced.

I'm fairly certain that we could get a few slants in. But if butch can convince them, I'm all for it.

It's because recruits are in the middle of their seasons and we aren't entertaining many visitors right now. Most recruiting tweets are because the recruits are in Knoxville or coming to Knoxville. Another reason is because the people who usually post the recruiting tweets are focused more on what's happening on the field.
