Just watching the first 4 games, it seems we have struggled more inside the Red/Orange Zone this season than any year in recent history.

We got it done in the 2nd half against LSU, but against UAB and Ole Miss we drove the length of the field on several drives and then just looked awful inside the 20.

We can't hit any big plays this year, either on the ground or through the air . . . I think I heard our longest play from scrimmage is 20 - 30 yards. Until we do, we have to start punching it in once we're inside the 20.

Two questions: where are the big plays so we don't ALWAYS have to score inside the 20, and why do we stall so often when we get down there? If we don't do one or both of these well against the Dawgs I don't think we have a chance.

I have never seen a year when our offense has struggled so bad, u are right when they get inside the 20 they fall apart. I dont know the answer maybe its just confidence. But i will say this though, that 25 yard drive against LSU in OT was impressive, Maybe they need to get Riggs the ball more inside the 20 it worked in Baton Rouge when it counted

I agree with that; it seems that as soon as we get down there, we'll run once up the middle for no gain (assuming we don't first get a delay of game, substitution infraction, or false start), then throw it in the end zone two straight plays, then kick a FG, with mixed results.

Maybe we should let Gerald have at least two carries, and not just up the middle into the heart of the D.
