The game was turning when we got it inside the 10 on those two drives and only got six. Momentum definitely started to turn at that point. Punch it in those two times and probably a different game. Game of momentum..

The real turning point ot the game was when Heupel went for it on 4th down in his own territory WITH THE LEAD. I'm completely committed to Josh for the long run, but he cost us this game with that decision. Hope he learns from it.
Hated that call to go for it there. Pin Bama back and let them earn their points

You’re not going to win SEC road games by kicking field goals in the first half, especially in Tuscaloosa.

I wasn't a fan of that call but I'd rather have a coach who will roll dice and have confidence his players will make the plays than a vanilla coach.

Thornton dropped a pass inside the 5 and may have scored if he’d caught it on the first FG drive.

I just don’t think JM sees the field as well as HH did especially in the end zone. And his touch & accuracy doesn’t help.

I don't understand why we kept trying the middle with the run game. The numbers said bounce it outside and when we did we got yards.. Ran into the teeth of the Defense too much..
I feel as though CJH and co panicked and the whole second half game plan was to try to run the clock out. That’s all I can figure, I hate to believe that’s the best we could come up with.

No, the real turning point was when we had the ball in a one-score game late in the fourth quarter…and our QB once again held the ball way too long, fumbled and gave the opposing defense the clinching TD.

I don't have a problem in a tight game with going for it on 4th and 1 around midfield. Any good team should be able to get a yard. Any good team does not run the ball on 4th and 1 into the strength of a good defensive team ... twice.

He needed to do something other than stand there frozen like a statue. He just doesn’t have an internal clock in his head.

The red zone issues are based upon the QB issues and lack of a go to receiver. Which tight end can you trust to catch the ball ? Which receiver could get open ? What is the go to run play with the box stacked by the defense ?

All true.
