Redemption? Is this based on the Brown must suck because he is from Kansas assumption?

You don't have to be drafted 1st round to be a good college player.

Looks like you have thrown all first rounders in, not just RBs

Bryce Brown should be good.

And you should just go away.

Why did you feel the need to start another thread with your rubbish?

I hope he is better than good, but I am a person that bases things on facts, not fairytales.

this fact seems as strong as the one you threw out about the cover 2 being a recent invention

Read the EXACT quote by Coach Dungy....it says the PHILISOPHY that I used was from the 1975 Steelers and talks about the zone schemes. Pittsburgh DID NOT play a Cover 2 and if you think so, you know NOTHING about football, PERIOD.

It's not recent as in the last 10 years, but it's NOT 30 years old either. Do you even know what a Cover 2 is designed to do???

It's based on the ODDS are not great that he will be great assumption.......

You realize you are saying someones odds of being a great athlete are inherently based on their geographical location?

Which is worse than knowing nothing about biology?

The only value of this thread is to point out where the football talent is concentrated.

Has no value whatsover regarding predictive ability for a single athlete.

Tennessee on the board with a big fat six, I see you! Nice going Tennessee.

Regardless...VolMan, come on. Don't be the VolNation joke, my boy (reserved for me). Can't you just accept the fact that the guy might be awesome? Don't you want Bryce Brown to be awesome? Why are you bringing this up? Twice? Are you a UT fan? You've done nothing but bitch since you've been on here. Why? You know Joe Walsh was born in Kansas, right? So many questions, all of which rhetorical.

As for Bryce, he did very well in the Army AA game. He looks dynamic regardless of the competition he played with. Truth be told, I have a feeling if we didn't get him, you'd still be bitching about something, right? Yeah probably don't shake your head.

But seriously, thank God we have this guy and people like Posi, gamecocks=average, 5150, etc, or this board would be so boring right now. So it's cool 38 Special, you do what you need to do.

In conclusion, chill and lulz @ thread.

Such a pointless negative thread. Thanks for wasting 5 mins of my day looking at it.

rivals overall number 1's
bryce brown
terrell pryor very good college player likely 1st rounder.
jimmy clausen sucks
percy harvin 1st round
derrick williams 3rd round
adrian peterson 1st round
ernie sims 1st round
vince young 1st round
this list is far more representative of the bryce brown situation than any list of states...bryce was good enough to earn the number one overall ranking and when you look at the other players who have done this it makes you think that rivals just might know what they're talking about.

The title of this thread in relation to its substance is quite hilarious.

Another candidate for worst thread ever.

Why are you bringing up an argument from like a month ago?? so this new #1 recruit isnt good either because he is from Minnesota?

Wow..I still dont understand the logic with saying a player will suck because of where they are from. What the &()*@()$#@ does that have to do with anything? I coule compile a list 10 pages long of players from states not on this list. Some people should have their brain checked.
