Redneck Games

MACON, Ga. -- A lowbrow celebration of all things tacky drew thousands of people over the weekend to Georgia.

The Redneck Games are a 10-year-old tradition in East Dublin.

The event was started by a local radio station as a spoof of the Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

You might be a redneck if you can find East Dublin. It is ridiculous that a town of about 15000 people has an east side and a west side.

Having been through Dublin hundreds of times, I can see why they didn't mind East Dublin establishing itself as a different city.

My fellow Maconites would want me to reiterate - only the newspaper that wrote the story was from Macon. The 'neck games are in East Dublin, 50 miles away.
