Based on my past analysis, it doesn't appear to me that the portal has started to influence coaches in redshirting strategies. Looks like past cycles. Now, every roster is different and the makeup of a roster can dictate redshirt candidates. Coaches all have their own strategy when it comes to redshirting as well. So here is the 2023 top ranked players by position from ON3 rankings. There are some players who have played four games and could play again this weekend and burn their redshirt status. Doubt that happens with many though as this is the last weekend of the season.
