Reed and Burton out of the QB rotation at Florida

Other than maybe the Kentucky game, for the most part H-back was basically where Burton got on the field last year. Reed was primarily a tight end all offseason but missed most of the first few games of the season when we were running the offense we practiced all year before panicking and going back to the spread.

I see it less as position switch and more as letting them concentrate on their best positions. I don't think it's necessarily intended to clear the way for Driskel as much as it's ridiculous to go into the fall with 6 scholarship QBs when some of their talents are better utilized elsewhere on offense. With the addition of Brissett we're still looking at having 4 as Murphy's not switching, at least not yet.

Burton at the "F" is going to be good for the offense...best part was "hands" moving to the slot and not being named a starter!!!

I'm just hoping Florida finally gets away from spread mode. I mean, if you have the right players, it works great. But any shortfall at RB or on offensive line and it just becomes this gobbledygook, every now and then a big play but otherwise stalls much more often than not, kind of an offense.

With the way Florida can bring in speed and talent at WR, plus still some allure for QBs, we ought to be flinging the rock 600 yards a game.

only issue I have with moving Burton and Reed from QB is what happens when/if JB fails or gets injuried....Burton and Reed both had a time in the system before they were tossed out there. The UT game will be here before we know it and I'm not thrilled looking at it with only JB at QB w/reps and a new system. IMO one should get reps in spring just incase.

People say what they will about Weis but he is a hell of a recruiter and his offensive mind speaks for its self. I hate to say it but Florida should be just fine all the way around this year and every year after.

I can't wait for these NFL coaches start slapping little Musche around. They may send him to the locker room before halftime.

Until Weis and Muschamp fight each other.

Weis has accomplished very little in college. Even less with his own recruits.

He had a very good offense at ND. His problem there was the fact that they had an awful defense.

Now at Florida as the OC that will be his only worry. I guarantee with the kids that go to Florida his offense will be just fine.

Acting like it's a good thing for UT that Florida hired him is incredibly ignorant.

It certainly has the makings of greatness. It's like two high speed trains driving towards each other, at some point, there is going to be a spectacular crash.
