Adjusting to the referring from this time on is IMO significant. (No longer) or will touch hand-checks be called, as an example. There have been games I've watched in the past where the conditions were similar to a men's game. There have been instances where bulky and strong centers backed and backed a lighter all the way to the goal, as in no charges called.

I'm sure all of us have examples. My point is 1. adjusting to the conditions, 2. hopefull all three referees have similar expecations , and 3. consistency throughout the game and with both teams.

Probably will be a variety of different games some where you can hand check all you want or get in foul trouble in a different game. Women basketball Refs do not know a charge from a block and that won't change in the tourney they will miss some calls both ways. I think you have to go into a game and determine what the situation is going to be. Hand check once and they call foul then you should assume it is going to be a foul everytime and vice versa not a foul if no call. Physical or non physical I have found the SEC to allow more physical play while the ACC does not. If I thought we would ever get a consistent game called in WCCB then I would be excited to watch it. I know that they will be all over the place more than likely calling two similar plays two different ways.

I can assure you in advance the referring will be very inconsistent across games, referees(half of the floor) even halves and will probably totally suck and look like the games are fixed at other times especially in the Dook Men’s Games.

If I'm Rick (which I aint) before every game I would wear the three officials out about the holding, tugging, grabbing etc that almost every team has done all year to Lanier. As Rick has said...watch how many times Chaz has to re-tuck his shirt because opposing teams are actually grabbing it so much it pulls loose. And if you isolate on CL...its no hyperbole....
