Tennessee is a clear favorite as they rank ahead of all three of the other teams in all but stolen bases.
Northern Kentucky is clearly an offensive minded team that also manufacturers runs on the basepaths with a clear lead in stolen bases.
Southern Mississippi leans on pitching but their pitching is clearly behind Tennessee.
Northern Kentucky is clearly very week pitching wise. They give up a ton runs and average 5.37 walks per game
Indiana scores runs but is mediocre- at best pitching wise. I suspect the Vols will not play them as USM pitches too well and NKU is even better offensively.


NKU is 8th in the nation is Sac Bunts with 49 in 57 games. No one can bunt against Tennessee and expect to win. USM is 136th at 21. IU is 266th. UT is proudly 288th

During last years SuperRegional versus Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, many on the board set about to document the apparent deficiencies of Hattiesburg to serve as a host site. The nationally branded restaurant count was among those selected as a point and laugh set of data.

I asked in a diff thread, athensvol quote ...

When it got announced last year that Hattiesburg was going to host the Supers over Knoxville, a Vol fan on Twitter made a tongue in cheek joke about Hattiesburg being so crappy that it didn’t even have an Applebee’s.
