16 region sites were announced.
Three SEC teams are hosting (South Carolina, Florida and LSU) but 5 ACC schools (North Carolina, Virginia, North Carolina State, Miami and Florida State)
I'm not casting stones here but do the number "1956" not mean anything to the committee?
The northern team of the moment that the NCAA is propping up is Purdue as they get to "host" a region in lovey and scenic Gary, Indiana. Why could the same affirmative action not be given to Kentucky who has a higher RPI? Delaney's *****ing has apparently got the B1G a region they don't deserve.
We'll see this week how many of the 3 SEC hosts are going to be national top-8 seed. I suspect only 2 (Florida/LSU)
Kentucky, Arkansas and Vanderbillt will be #2 seeds at some region sites. I see Vanderbilt likely at Purdue.
