Here is that list of 20

This past weekend has solidified Tennessee’s hold on top 8 seed and thus the right to host both weekends if they keep winning. The top-10 teams did well this past week but there was some tough losses in the second tier

Pitt is toast. That leaves 19.
Charlotte may be able to sneak in as non traditional
ECU played their was out of being a national seed but should still host region
LaTech is now borderline
Gonzaga had 2 ugly losses and may be through

My thought Chart

I see the hosts as follows:. I'm sure the experts will see different

1-Arkansas 16-Charlotte
2-Texas 15-South Carolina
3-Vanderbilt 14-Ole Miss
4-Tennessee 13-Stanford
5-Mississippi State 12-Florida
6-Notre Dame 11-East Carolina
7-Arizona 10-TCU
8-Texas Tech 9 -Oregon

It will be hard to not match up SEC teams in Super Regions.
The committee will do EVERYTHING in their power to not pair an SEC team against Notre Dame.
3,4, and 5 all are interchangeable.

Gonzaga would be in top-16 if they had not laid an egg against San Francisco. If Oregon State had a better week; they could have been the #1 seed in a Gonzaga region.
Charlotte and South Carolina will host but do not be surprise if they are #2 seeds to Miami, Oklahoma St or ODU.

I'm not brave enough for top 16...here are my national seeds though
1) Arkansas
2) Texas
3 Vanderbilt
4) Arizona
5) Tennessee
6) Texas Tech
7) Miss State
8) Notre Dame

Just spitballing here, but what do we have over Miss St resume wise? It looks almost identical to me. I could see the committee putting them over us. I know we won our division, but I don't know if that's a factor. I could also see them putting Arizona & Notre Dame over us due to conference affiliation. I don't know if they would want 3-4 SEC teams in the top 5.

I think the top 3 are clearly Arkansas, Texas, and Vandy. There's more leeway for the committee to seed teams 4-8 in my opinion. I hope we are in the 4-6 range.

Missouri played us and MS on back to back weekends ... we swept Missouri and Missouri went 2-1 against MS.
We went 1-2 against Arkansas and they got swept.
Two little data points, but very similar teams.

I honestly could care less who we are paired with in Regionals. The only thing I want to avoid is playing an SEC team in Super Regionals. Might be hard to do tho with the amount of SEC teams that will more than likely advance.

I just don't understand all of the hoopla with Notre Dame . . . They would have been a sub-500 team in the SEC! In my humble opinion the Irish are NOT a top 10 team, maybe top 35 . . . TOPS!

Does anyone worry that we may not get even a regional because of Tennessee's Transgender legislation? NCAA has said that violates their requirement that all athletes feel safe and protected at event sites.

So did he catch it? I can’t tell but it looks like he did and announcers seem to think he did then dropped it after crashing through. If that’s what happened I don’t know how you call a ball that didn’t go “over” the fence a HR. If the gate doesn’t open and he falls straight down and drops it, it’s likely a double maybe triple. I think on the surface that has to be treated as a ground rule double because there’s too much subjectiveness to rule any other way.

No he didn’t catch it. Watch real close and you can see the ball go over his head before he falls through the door.

That’s what I thought the white was and his eyes are never looking at his glove so I’m thinking if he caught it, he did so with his head down but the announcers kept going on like he caught it.
