Alabama and Kentucky - due to their last few weeks; almost became Q1 losses
Tennessee Tech was a Q2 loss when it first occurred but they fell off until a strong showing in OVC tourney. They beat SEMO once but lost a second game. Tech had some rea ugly Q4 losses (8 actually)

It may be obvious and I don't see it but is that 20-3 against teams going to the tourney this year? or 20-3 against teams from last year's tourney? Either way, heck of a stat!

Edit: NM...I understand now. Red teams are tourney this year. Right?

Two games that will always bug me.....that stupid wood bat game against a team we should steamroll.....and losing 2 in Lexington. I know I'm being greedy but we should be 55-5 and if we REALLY show up we beat UK in a sweep and we are 56-4. Again, I know it's nitpicking....but that series loss in Lexington still ticks me off as does that game against TTU.

No crying in baseball. Short memory is the key. 1-0 for today thinking.

I hope everyone remembers that no matter what happens going forward, a season like this season is not likely to be seen again in a very long time, if ever.

When everything is said and done, we can all sit back and enjoy our memories of this team, our coaches, and the excitement they created. It was a VERY good year!

Well Tn Tech used wood bats as well but losing to them is inexcusable.

The UK series was a head scratcher but they are obviously better than they were given credit, they were getting healthy, they were at home and, the elements and atmosphere were bad.

Kentucky not getting in is a head scratcher too.

Inexcusable is a bit of a stretch imho. UT lost to Charlotte, Lipscomb, and Indiana St twice in 2021. it’s very typical to have upsets during a long college baseball season.

This will be brought up in our journey through the tournament. You can't underestimate anyone in baseball. It has so many angles and bounces. Stay focused and stay the course. GBO !!!
