My wife and I was at the game. (Her 1st) Even though we could have played much better I do remember that in 1998 we played very dismal at times. How many of you remember thinking "That's it, the season is lost" only to see us find a way to win one way or another.
The bottom line is, we found a way to win. If the team will do that each game and dig down and FIND A WAY TO WIN then it doesn't matter if we blow someone out or not. Competition between division 1 schools has almost gotten to a point of being a level playing field. (Who thought TCU would beat Oklahoma?). UAB is a solid team that will win a lot of games & most likely head to a bowl. We DO have a lot to work on, but we can build on this game's experience and move on.
Florida is next. Who's with me?
GO BIG ORANGE! :clapping:

I have also made the point that there are close games now that shouldn't be because of scholarship restrictions.
This team just needs to focus on UF, I think they will and we will get the job done.

If I stuck around after the 2002 loss to Florida, a mediocre game against UAB ain't gonna run me off! Win or lose, I'm 100% Vol!!
