From 247 Sports: Ranking the SEC Quarterbacks

13. Justin Worley, Tennessee- Worley has a good arm and won the Vols starting job thanks to his command of the offensive system, due to his starting experience. Tennessee has a lot to replace on the offensive line, though, and Worley is a quarterback you HAVE to protect because he isn’t mobile. Obviously, if Tennessee can protect him there is enough talent at receiver for him to be higher.

WHAT A STINKING JOKE !!!!

I CAN'T THINK OF ANY QB IN THE SEC (OR THE CFB NATION AS FAR AS THAT GOES), THAT I WOULD RATHER HAVE UNDER CENTER. KID ISN'T PERFECT... BUT HE'S AN ABSOLUTE WORRIOR !!!!!!!

(And pretty darn good too)

If he keeps playing the way he has I wouldn't be surprised to see him at least get some workouts with NFL teams after this year.

I've loved Worley since last year. His improvement this year is testament to his work ethic! He is a true warrior out there! Leads by example.

with the pressure he has been under constantly,I can't think of another QB that has performed better under duress unless it would be someone like Mariota that can run away...

and Stoops finding him after the OU game is all you need to see as far as what the competition thinks about him...that is the highest compliment an opposing coach can give you...

Wish he had another year.

We all do, but Dooley burned his redshirt. Several of the throws that he made Saturday made question if Mannig had borrowd Worley's Helmet and Uniform and played for him, especially after he came back in the game.

Worley bird was good last year, this year much more impressive. Sure you have to give him credit for his work ethic, but I feel like with out Bajakian he would have never progressed as far as he has. This coaching staff is legit.

You can thank Dooley for that. I think it was the Alabama game he put Worley in in the last few minutes of that game.

Don't care if you liked Dools or not, this was such a dumb thing to do. He simply burned a whole year of a kids time for no good reason. I for one stuck with him longer than most. But this along with how bad he seemed to treat TN high school coaches (which came light after he left)...... Just hard to forgive.

There was a lot of hating on Worley last year and now look at him. I hope we all remember what can happen with time and experience, Peterman may very well be the next QB to make drastic changes towards being better if given some time to gain valuable experience.

Outside of ranking him 13th best, nothing in that write up is wrong. Just like any good QB Worley has to have time to get the ball to his receivers. What couldn't have been measured is the heart and determination that he plays with. He is definitely a fighter!

I said that to my daughter during the game on Saturday. She's 18 and has loved the Vols since conception...just like her dad! We do have one difference...she hates Florida most and I am old school and hate bammer the most. #VFL

I'm the same age and I actually hate Bammer while my dad hates the Gatters

Back on topic though
Worley has made amazing strides since last year. I hope our OLine Gels in time for him to start handing out some class A azz-whoopen that I predict in the near future....
