The frequency at which this is happening is beyond alarming. Its like the psychotics of the world got together and decided that this was the new fad.

Sounds like the shooting was off campus. One article I read had a comment from an A&M student who said it was from a house off campus, but students in the vicinity have been told not to go near the area.

Prayers with the victims. This kind of stuff needs to stop. Maybe it's ignorance on my behalf, but I don't remember seeing so much of this kind of stuff before the Virginia Tech incident. Makes me wonder how many of these shootings are from notoriety-seeking lunatics.

Have there always been this many hell bent psychos out for blood, or is this just a recent phenomenon? Seems like the last few years have been packed with these crazy incidents. Maybe I just wasn't paying much attention before.

This is how you stop the idiots. Take him to the court house steps, get a rope and hang it high, make sure all the news stations are there and HANG THE DUMB MOFO!! You do crazy crimes this is what happens!!

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Police say at least one law enforcement officer and one civilian have been killed in a shooting near Texas A&M University's campus.
Assistant Chief*Scott McCollum
*says the gunman also was shot Monday before being taken into custody.
McCollum say the officer killed was a constable with Brazos County.

Very sad news. Those are good people down in College Station.

The death toll is up to three people: constable, shooter, and civilian bystander

except the people who do **** like this - especially when you get into areas like this with copycat crimes - are usually nuts already; i can't see how - with such - that's going to be all that effective of a preventative

We are getting a mass shooting in the US on a weekly basis lately...the new war is being fought in our own country.
