Before the NC/SC game the talking heads said that SC left the ACC because they weren’t getting any respect, specifically from NC.

They left and nothing has changed. 9 sacks, and -2 yards rushing.

Yep, SC o-line looks the part but got throttled. Big, but slow and stunts were throwing them hard. That team seems to improve as the year continues but having them in Neyland is going to be good.

Even better....UGA and Miss St get a shot at taking a few pounds of flesh from SCjr before they come to our place. Hope they're beaten to a bloody pulp before they hit Knoxville.

I support teams, not the conference- I dislike most SEC teams. I hope the non-Vol teams lose.
I believe the strength of schedule argument is weak when you have a twelve-team playoff. For example, the top twelve teams in the 12/4/22 CFB playoff poll were P5 teams that had two or fewer losses.
Just win!

595 to 170 scoring margin without LSU and an 11-2 record with LSU outstanding.

Nothing screams powderpuff cupcake city like seeing those stats. Only 4 out of 14 games against power 5 conference teams (kudo’s to those teams that like a little bit of a challenge)

UT
LSU
UF
USCjr

Scheduling put of conference cupcakes isn't new. Win each week and it doesn't matter when you are in the SEC. Go Vols!!!

That game could easily have been 41-10 if Maye hadn't thrown a couple of bad picks. South Carolina is not a good football team, and that offensive line is going to get Rattler killed before half the season is done.

I care nothing about what any other team does in the SEC does outside of Tennessee. Exceptions are made for in conference games like when LSU plays Bama or when any teams plays Bama. I'm ALWAYS for the Bama opponent, always.

I had a "root for the SEC outlook" when it was a cohesive, geographically consistent conference of historical rivals. Expansion ruined that.

Go Vols, and to hell with the rest of them.

As it stands, we are the only SEC team to beat a P5 school. That very well could stand after the LSU vs FSU matchup.

I want every SEC team to win every week so they all look great up to the point that we beat them by 50.

Crushing highly ranked opponents is a lot of fun. Stomping on puppies like the Big10 and ACC do is pathetic.

I’ve said it before: This SEC solidarity stuff is ridiculous. ALL of those SEC “brothers and sisters” took great delight in our suffering over the past decade+ of ineptitude. None of them wishes us well - and they will ALL use whatever angle they can to undermine us.

I hope EVERY other team in the SEC loses except the Volunteers. They aren’t our “family” and they aren’t our friends.
