Gig is slang for a Job, so I guess their all unemployed and their gonna wow everybody by getting a job.

Yes, I have heard of frog gigging and almost all music bands call their show a "Gig". So its very confusing as A&M will be by 6:30

That's exactly what it is. When I was young, me and my uncle would spend the day fishing then put out trotlines overnight but gig frogs by flashlight, too. Gramps would do fried cat and frog legs and veggies from the garden. Damned good times and food.
