some of the blame goes to RS, but most goes to the offense....Ainge said it plain and simple, open receivers r being missed, dropping passes, and fumbling isnt RS fault....evidentally the plays havnt been awful if we r fumbling in chances and dropping TDs.......i wouldve rsigned also if my family was receiving threats and i had to be escorted out by state troopers because of idiot fans...show some class he is our coach....i dont see or hear of anyone threating EA,RC,CA,or AF.....blame the whole offensive team....not the guy puttin us in position to win and then not making a play....some of these fans on here r awful....Tennessee has always called conservitive plays....we have never complained until now when we have a bad year...and then we blame a man who is only partially responsible...show some class towards him and his family.......I am a UT fan but if u cant support a guy who has done a fine job for this team then just jump off the bandwagon now....there are better people than you all around

I agree that he should have not recieved all of the blame, especially since he was basically running the plays that Fulmer wanted run. I also agree no matter how bad it is you should never insult someone personally or attack someone's family, that is horrible. BUT, he is the offensive coordinator and the offense is his job ultimately. This is how college football works. You are based on your job performance and judged accordingly. Look at our offense since 1998 and you will see what I mean. Given, the changes should have been made earlier before it was allowed to deteriorate to this point, but we all know how stubborn Fulmer is, so unfortunately it took a season like this to initiate change. In the end, even if the players don't execute it is on the coaches shoulders, because you can't fire players but you can fire coaches. Lack of discipline, basic things like how to run routes, what checks to make at the line of scrimmage, throwing mechanics of the qbs, are all on the coaches. And no matter what you say 107th in the nation is NOT doing a fine job.
