Maybe it was his attempt to not get the fans and team fired up before they played us but after reading his comments about BP I have gained a new found respect for Donovan even though I hate Florida. He was a class act when questioned about our coach.. Now with that said we still need to beat the gators pants off.. GBO

I have always respected Billy Donovan...He is a class act and him and Pearl seem to be pretty good friends too...I seem to remember hearing they did some charity work together.

Nice comments fellas....thanks. I really like BP too even with this blip on the radar. I think he is a quality coach and is great for the conference and the Big Orange.

I respect Donovan more after Jimmy Dykes informed us last night that he invented the on-ball screen. I also respect Dykes much more after learning that Tobias Harris went to him for advice on how to be a star.

I'm comforted to know our players are taking advice from TV guys who have been out of coaching for 20 years instead of looking to our staff.

that's what I took from the comment. Maybe it's just a glass half full approach, but it struck me as very odd when he said it.

Dykes got him straightened out, though. I think it had something to do with ice and a hard hedge, not that there's anything wrong with that.

why didn't he just hook him up with Donovan, who builds NBA franchises from scratch?

Coaches are too busy arguing over which play was called.

I was confused about play "2" because I heard it called on air twice and it wasn't the same thing. I was hoping Jones was patting his head one time and rubbing his belly the other.

Subterfuge intended to confuse the inventor of the ball screen.

Kind of hard to respect any coach that in all probablity just pulled a plug on your entire season.

Dykes, ice, hard hedge... you seem open to experimenting with different positions...
