Perhaps it was corrected for the individual tallies, but in the results post in the entry thread, Gordon was only credited with 48. Shouldn't it be 50? That would jive better with the other scores. Should have been 43+1+1+5, no? Won't hurt my feelings if I'm wrong. He wasn't one of my picks.

would be nice if they gave 5 points for a win, but they don't.

The points posted are the NASCAR points, unfortunately they don't go by our system. If you had picked the 24 to win, you get the 48 points awarded by NASCAR plus my five point bonus for picking the winner. Just having him as a pick and not to win earns the 48 pts only.

That makes sense. I didn't know if you included our points in that tally. What is the breakdown on his NASCAR points for the race? I'm still learning all of the new scoring rules. Thanks!

The race winner gets 43 points and each position drops one point down to the 43rd place driver who gets one point. Bonus points are given for leading a lap - one point and leading the most laps - one point, and the race winner gets a three point bonus. So the NASCAR awarded points for Gordon are 43 + 1 + 1 + 3 = 48.

They should just say 1st place gets 47 points, +1 bonus for leading most laps. Don't understand the 3 bonus points for winning, personally. Maybe they should dock the last place driver 3 points for finishing last. :D

Nice pick with A.J. in the B group.
If Vickers woulda finished high, you would have eclipsed 200 points easy.

Thanks. I've picked 24 to win the last 66 races and yesterday it finally paid off.:rock:

Nice start for the 43 car too, hopefully they can keep it up.
