Could be wrong but pretty sure they already retired Allan's jersey a year or 2 ago. Which makes Ellis' jersey retirement all the more deserving. Allan was incredible but so was Dale. Not sure what took so long to retire #14.

It was retired (Houston) along with Grunfeld and King

All very well deserving! I slightly remember Monica Abbott on the softball team. That girl could really pitch. One of the best in college softball. Candace Parker was an outstanding player for the lady vols...one of the best in program history. I honestly had not heard of Dale Ellis considering he played so long ago. But it's obvious he was an outstanding player. Go vols!

Candace Parker absolutely deserves it...Abbott was one of the most dominant pitchers and Dale Ellis was money.

I agree with Chris Lofton's jersey being retired...he deserves it.

And Since 98 was the year...can we retire #98 for all sports? LOL
