i don't like the fact that we are getting all fancy, ya it looks nice but that means we just lost 2,000 fans. lets add more seats somewhere. lets get a upperdeck on top of the upper deck we have. does ne body know seriously tho if UT plans on adding anymore seats to Neyland? you know in 5 to 10 yrs bama will sit 111,000. trust me i know this i live n this crappy state

The 10 year plan is actually to reduce the seating capacity to just above 100,000.

The question that I have, feel free to answer if you know, is alcohol allowed in the luxury suites?

i agree, and it's easier to put whiskey in your cup while in a big crowd. But i think if you give 50k to get on a waiting list, they would pour it for you

That sucks that we are reducing our seatin capacity. I like bragging that we have one of the largest stadiums especially to my bama friends now they will pass us n 5 yrs or so. that blows

Well, when they pass us, then you can brag that we have a better looking stadium. You have to admit, the skeleton of piping and steel beams is a bit of an eyesore.

The plan is to add more seats at the top of the South end to replace the ones taken by club seating in the east and (soon-to-be) south sections.

I think it would be nice to extend the skyboxes around the North end (a-la Lambeau Field), that would also add capacity.

I'm loving the proposed brick facade of the stadium and interior walls. I did a project on that when I was an undergrad at UT. (Architecure & Sport Management)

Adding a deck that went flush with the jumbotron and wrapped around to the press boxes would be some eye catching business, wonder if thats even thesiable? I know a little construction but that would be a question for a construction engineer.

If it pleases Hamilton in staying over only 100,000 quality seats, why not thank about the 100,000 regular fans seated in the stadium and allow an inch or so more seating space for us.:dunno:

That would be awesome if they did have a third deck wrapped around the press boxes. true it would be high, but even the upper deck u can see the field great. I'd like to see it happen wow, what an attraction that would be
