Got an e-mail from the UTAD about this auction--it's a game used ball from the LSU game, autographed by CPF. I say we pool our resources, buy the ball, and then get together for a party to detonate the ball in an effort to put this season behind us, just like the cubs did with the foul ball that was interfered with by the fan.

Of course I'd rather have the ball that CA fumbled through the end zone against Bama, but this will have to do.

They just traded for the best leadoff hitter in MLB. maybe if we get rid of the ball then Mitch will come here cause he is the best highschool qb?

Juan Pierre, the best leadoff hitter in baseball? Hold your horses. I'm sure Johnny Damon, Rafael Furcal, Scott Podsednik, and several other guys would take issue with that.

well i really dont want to get in this, but coming to pure speed and the ability to steal, bunt and take a double into a tripple, i would give it to pierre. but i totally forgot about Johnny damon, but i think he is the only one that may be better.
