Rex Ryan tattoo features woman in Mark Sanchez's New York Jets jersey - ESPN New York


A vacationing Rex Ryan was spotted and photographed Thursday sporting a tattoo of a woman who appears to be his wife, wearing only a green jersey with Mark Sanchez's No. 6 on it and posing in a way many would say resembles a crouching Tim Tebow.

A shirtless Ryan, sunbathing poolside at the Cove Atlantis resort in the Bahamas, quickly left the scene with his wife after being approached by a reporter.

Maybe it's just me but it's hard not to view that as all sorts of f'ed up. Guess you just have to be a part of it to get it. In comparison to the foot fetish, sex videos or whatever, I guess it's normal for them.

It's weird but I think they (sports media) should leave family members out of the headlines and stories. Let the tabloids report this garbage.

Why is this even remotely a news story for any legitimate, non-tabloid news source, let alone ESPN?

I think you underestimate Rex and his desire to stay in the spotlight. I hope he remains in New York for as long as possible.
