I hope so for Memphis, but let's be honest, can that athletic department really pay him enough to make him leave being an analyst?

They can have Fulmer while they're at it. Maybe Bowden and Paterno will jump on board too.

I'll have what Memphis is having, bartender.

He is not going to get a major offer anytime soon. There were too many problems at um.

1) NCAA violations - too many coaches on staff
2) NCAA violations - Violated practice restrictions
3) Recruiting Failures - Too many of them. We all have a few, but wow! Amazing inability to recruit quality players at a program that should have had them knocking on his door
4) Schematic disadvantage. His defense, and his offense, did not work. His special teams were not real special either
d) Josh Groban thinks he is an idiot.

No major program is going to touch him, he is damaged goods. He will need to take a Memphis or a MAC job and work his way back up. Maybe an ACC job, but lower tier.

I wish he could have stayed at michigan for the rest of his career, or my lifetime, whichever is longer!! Loved what he did to that program!!!

Calkins should know better than to even mention Rich Rod.

It's going to be a big letdown when they end up promoting Mike DuBose because no one else wants the job.

The thought of Memphis or a MAC job being on par with a lower tier BCS job in the ACC is hilarious.
