This may put Connecticut in play for the R candidate.

The Dems hate the military so badly until they need to use them to help them get elected.

Eh, it is possible but unlikely. The projected polls are about 10%, which is closer than i'd expect at this point.

I would hope after Countrywide Chris Dodd, voters up there would be ready to try something different.

Actually his political opponent outed him and therefore the NY Slimes had to report it, if they had done their due dilligence they would have reported this years ago but we all know the NY Slimes isn't about reporting the truth but is about supporting their own agenda.

As much of a slap in the face of war veterans it was for him to lie about it, his refusal to admit that he lied and not "misspoke", and refusal to apologize, is a backhand to the face to not only war veterans, but all military service veterans. He's not a disgrace to just democrats (insert a quip by justin, MG, or gs about him actually being a typical democrat), he's a disgrace to his whole country. The guy is utter slime, and I would have no problem telling him that to his face. He wants to tell stories about being spit on? I'll give him a real memory of it.

Ascribing dishonesty solely to the Dems is ridiculous.

Having said that, I've seen some video of him and I agree he did not just "misspeak." He lied. And now he's lying when he claims he didn't. He must take us all for fools. I would never vote for him. Hope he bows out and if not, hope someone decent runs against him.

actually, I'd call him a typical liberal. There are still a few honorable democrats out there and I'd hate to paint with a broad brush. :)

Blumenthal refused to prosecute Dodd, saying there wasn't enough evidence although there was more evidence evident than they had on Charlie Manson.

Some group that examines all 50 state AGs say Blumenthal is the worst in American history, or at least since they have been doing their thing.

He has the distinction of being the only one to fail all four categories which are rated that goes sort of like this:

1. self promotion
2. asking judges to go beyond statutes and make law
3. bringing suits against business that is done wholly outside his state
4. making false charges or using falsified evidence

One lady he prosecuted counter sued and won $18 million from Conn.

Nope, they usually dont run anyone against her. I wish nature would run its course in her case.

The great part is that she is on the ballot as a dem and with the "Working Families" party.
