I know Rick personally. He would be a great option if considered. But he won't be considered, he doesnt regret striking while the iron was hot and he turned down ECU a couple years ago since his son is the starting qb for Siegel in the Boro. He will eventually get a shot at a great job.

He's coached in the SEC before (WR @ SC in 04-05). I don't think it'd be the worst hire

I respect the heck out of him for the job he has done there, but it's still a far cry winning in the Sunbelt and winning in the SEC. I think a Big East team might be a good destination for him, but not the SEC. He'd have to dominate his conference year in year out, to get a chance.

Funny thing is, he's more qualified than Dooley was. What a shame.

We need a change that will raise this program back to the top. Hiring Stockstill would be a change for the sake of a change.

I'd take a young up and coming High School coach over Stocks. He's topped out at the Sun Belt level.

Time for a ban. I'm really getting tired of people making shiite up. This one takes the cake.

Time for you to shut the f#ck up. Nobody can prove whether he is making this up or not, so let people make their own informed decisions on the validity of someone's claim instead of cluttering threads with your shiite.
