Have you seen the playback? I have thanks to my inside sources (jk)

We hardly ever throw the ball down field and get most of our yardage from short passes that turn into bigger gains.

Any QB would do well here.

But it doesn't matter anyways as it's too late and he'd have sit a year.
The dude above isn't wrong. Our splits are so wide, those passes to the flats require a big arm.

Need to bring in a 1 or 2 year guy that is very serviceable with lots of playing time experience and let the two young QBs compete. 2 years of eligibility might be crucial for Brandon as well, whether he just needs time, or bails out on Tennessee.

He’s a gritty guy. I’ll give him that, but he doesn’t have a cannon to throw it down the field like coach runs his offense. We definitely need to pick somebody up in the portal. I’m not comfortable Just having two QBs that have very little playing time. I think we need to pick up a guy that’s played a couple of years.

Even if he were available, the answer is no. The only way you take someone at this point is if you know hands down they can start next year and make an impact. Available Options on that are probably slim to none.

I think with the time limitations we still would be better off to get Gaston back. He knows the system and can be plug in play. No disrespect to Pavia though, the kid is all heart.

I'd be fine with him, but he'd have to sit out a year
yep, then he'd be old enough to draw social security to offset the NIL and could do some Social Security and AARP NIL appearances. Been playing forever.
We should just give the players a scholarship for 5 years for school then when they graduate employ them as lifelong football/basketball etc. players until they get hurt or can't make the squad. Then they could get another job as an athlete at another school or maybe something none of them want a real job.

No, we cannot go stealing players from other teams! That's exactly the problem that causes this Nico debacle! We must take someone who is already in the portal, and we shouldn't entice other teams' players into the portal, either! That's the whole NIL sickness that is ruining college football today!! And yes, Pavia is a fabulous QB. But on a practical note, why would we take a player who has to sit out next year? That doesn't solve our problem.

If we did that we’ll get our teeth kicked in like we did in the cfp. While we keep our integrity every other school decided to tamper and get better. We told the 🤡 to hit the door cause he wasn’t worth what he wanted. Now the coaches get to tamper and spend money on a guy they think is actually worth it. Nut up or shut up. I want our team to win. I don’t care what the whole nation thinks about us. They already hate and talk down on anything involving UT.
