I think everyone is sleeping on our Vols. Very little media coverage, no scandals, no headlines. It’s right where we want to be. Let em sleep on us. If the defense and run game show up we will literally end Ryan Days career at Ohio State. The only thing that worries me is the Refs. It’s a huge black eye for the big 10 if we walk out of there with a W. I still like where we’re at though. As always GBDO 🍊

I agree. I’m very interested to see how this group shows up in these playoffs.

And, no matter what happens, I feel like I’m playing with house money. This is a year earlier than I expected, and I think there will be other trips in the future.

But I wouldn’t bet against this team this year.

PS — officiating concerns me, too

I’m not afraid for our boys playing on the road, but I’m going to be sad if we don’t get to show college football how great our fans can be at Neyland when it’s win or stay home.
Oh they already know and they don't want fans shutting the other guys down. Not that Happy Valley or Horsehoe are neutral fields but they don't get louder that Sanford, Bryant stadium, The Swamp or Tiger Stadium. We are conditioned to handle their fans they absolutely are not ready for what our fans will put in their ears.

If Penn State and or Georgia lose, do we move up a spot in ranking/seeding?
That's a good question but The committee has maintained that wins over top 25 teams are what their first thing to look at. If Georgia beats Texas badly how can they not at least have conversation of putting us in 8 and Texas in 7or 9. I get they are playing in conference championship but they avoided everyone and lost badly at home when and a second time on neutral field to the team that we had tied up at halftime in their stadium.
