Former Kentucky, Baylor head coach Guy Morriss has died

Former Kentucky and Baylor head coach Guy Morriss died on Tuesday, according to multiple reports. He was 71 years old. Morriss was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016.

Sad to live part of your life like that. Prayers for his family. Famous for being the only losing coach trenched with Gatorade. That happened in the Miracle in Lexington when LSU hit a bomb on last play to beat Ky.

No he coached offensive line for pretty much his entire career.

Most of my awareness of him came when he was either a HC or an OC. He could have coached D at some point though, I really dunno?

Ironically Coach O got a Gatorade bath like that a few years ago when they played 5 or 6 overtimes in the longest NCAA football game ever and lost to ATM.

He played at TCU and was a 15 year veteran in the NFL. Started at center for the Eagles in Super Bowl XV.
