RIP Harry Kalas and Mark Fidrych

I cried when I heard the news about Kalas. Philly baseball won't be the same. I grew up on his voice, I really don't know what it will be like now. We gotta pull off a 2nd consecutive WS victory for Harry.

As advertised, Jayson Stark put in words, what many I assume feel in Philly. I'm not a fan of the Phillies but I certainly have sympathy for them and their fans. We have enjoyed Milo Hamilton here for the Stros games forever and I can gaurantee, I will be at a loss when he passes. Harry K was one of the few left in a fraternity that is reaching the end of era.

I had the pleasure of meeting Harry Kalas last season and He was a very down to earth regular kind of guy and lots of fun to talk baseball with...You could almost always find him out by the team busses talking with the fans and signing autographs...Just a fine fine gentleman and He will be sadly missed...One of the great announcers of our time.
