Great point, they could weave together so many different genres that worked well in the 'pub' but did not always translate well to albums and certainly not singles.

If you like that style check out Brinsley Schwarz - Nick Lowe was in it before he went solo. Great stuff to hear in a bar but not mega album stuff.

I am not familiar with Brinsley Schwarz but will check them out. I am a Nick Lowe fan and have a really good bootleg of a Little Village show.

I am a fan of NRBQ and have seen them live. They put on a great show.
