Amazing actor. Of all his great performances, his turn in Misery doesn't get enough credit. He was the perfect foil to Kathy Bates's insanity.

It could be silly at times, but I liked the tv series, Las Vegas, from 15-20 years ago and Kiss Me Goodbye with Sally Field and Jeff Bridges is in my guilty pleasure list. Good actor.

Caan was terrific as Brian Piccolo in Brian's Song.

He played some college football at Michigan State.

I know he is mostly known for other movies but Gardens of Stone is one of his better movies. RIP

How could a character who doesn't even last half a movie have such a lasting impact? The writing and execution of the character was phenomenal, but Sonny had to die so his legend could live. Everytime he dies, it's painful to me as the audience. One of the ten most iconic characters in film history.
