The things he could do behind a drum kit were insane. And the lyrics he wrote for Rush set them apart from all other bands. Prayers for his family, as well as his bandmates Geddy and Alex.

My first Rush concert was in the old Municipal Auditorium in Nashville on the Signals tour. I had the pleasure of seeing them four times after that. All the shows were fantastic, but the Roll The Bones tour was probably my favorite.

I'm absolutely gutted! As a huge Rush fan, this one hurts! I haven't felt this awful about a celebrity death since Robin Williams. Neil Peart WAS The spirit of radio!

My first Rush was a fall, 1981 show at Municipal. A friend's sister worked in admin there and got us special guest passes. Smoked Colombian gold in strawberry rolling papers

3 days after learning of Neil's death and I'm still in shock. Just does not seem real! A celebrity death hasn't hit me this hard since Robin Williams.
