Absolutely. Love everything of his that I've seen, which is a lot. Every Bond film and almost everything from Time Bandits on. I'm glad he took the last 17ish years off and enjoyed retirement, he dang well earned it.

I was little, little when I watched that last. Don't remember if I enjoyed it much less who was in it. Is it worth a watch for someone over 30?

It's a movie you probably won't like as an adult if you didnt love it as a child. I like movies I liked as a child, but as an adult you probably wouldn't. Kinda like Clash of the titans the original.

Movies nowadays are so much more technically advanced that you cant go backwards if you didnt see them when they were the original.

Kinda like Star Wars. One, two, and three was like WTF after I had the privilege of four, five, and six when they came out.

It's obvious which movies had the better FX.

Darby scared the crap out of me as a kid because of the black coach and the grim reaper. Still get the chills today when it comes watching it today.

I get that for sure. Candleshoe, Babes in Toyland, and Return to Oz are like that for me.

I think I'll make a point to watch Darby O'Gill again, even though it will be like the first time. I'll let you know if I enjoy it. :)

I got my son to watch it with me on Disneynow plus whatever its it's called. He was kinda into it, I had to try and sell it because of the age of it.

I don't remember not knowing who he is. I have no memory of this, but I was obsessed with 007 and called him (and Moore) 'James Botten' as a toddler. RIP

I highly recommend “Just Cause” with Sean Connery, Ed Harris and Blair Underwood. Also has Ned Beatty and Kate Capshaw and a young Scarlett Johansson. Very underrated movie with an outstanding supporting role from Ed Harris. Maybe Harris’s best work on film.
