Does anyone know why it is that we are seeing more and more undefeated teams each year? If you think about it, in 1998, UT played a 1 loss FSU team. Until recently, there was usually only 1 undefeated team, and this year, there *could* actually be 4 or 5...You have:

USC
Texas
V Tech
Penn State (I know...don't laugh)
Alabama (I think the team to beat in the SEC)

That's crazy!

If this nonsense isn't reason enough to have more cross conference play, I'm not sure what is. Another thing that is crazy is how little your strength of schedule counts in the ratings. UGA just handed us our ass and a questionable FSU team is still ahead of them :dunno: That's just nutz!

Yeah, i really don't think FSU is as good as their rank. Very soft schedule except for Miami who isn't really that great either IMO, and UF of course, but at least this year finally they have to play in a championship game. But we will see though when they come to the swamp. Georgia is looking very good right now.

Never underestimate the power of Bobby and his influence in the polls.

I guessing that a front loaded schedule like this could help:

MTSU
Southern Miss
S. Carolina
Arkansas
UF (1 true win)

Recognize it?

Wuss schedules for the most part. Some teams are that good (ie: USC, Bama), but most of them play cupcake schedules
