yeah I just found him at #146. still its a little worrisome with so many players committed to have only 1 player in the top 250.

yeah last year I was worried for a while then all of a sudden the commitments began poring in, but i'm not seeing that this year.

I think we may end up very medicore this year, but what does it really matter, we dont do anything with the 5*'s we do get.

If signing day was today, we would have a worse signing class than that of 2006. That signing class was bad because we stunk and didn't even make a bowl. We won the SEC east this year, why the crummy class???? Are we low on scholarships this year?

We took a lot of players last year so we are fairly limited on scholarships. Also, this could be a very good class and we won't know it until these guys get on the field. Just because rivals says they're cruddy doesn't make them cruddy.

Let's face it, there is absolutely no telling if this class sucks or is great. Its way too far from signing day. And even on signing day we wont know if this class sucks or is great. We have years before we know anything about the quality of this class.

The problem is about half the players in the rivals 250 have already committed. Of those who haven't, many already have a favorite. Tennessee isn't leading for any of these guys.

Unless there is a bunch of defections before signing day, it's going to be a disappointing class. I think that is a fair analysis.

Actually UT is in the lead or among the leaders for some players in the Top 250. Plus Ole Miss, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, and Miami all have commitments that we have a shot at. Some of you have such short memories. Dont forget that nobody has signed yet. They have done nothing but verbal. There will be tons of changes in those verbal commitments before signing day. This class will not be like last years. But it has plenty of opportunity to be a good class.

But we are winning games and playing in the SECCG, so the constantly negative posters have to find something to complain about right now. Recruiting sounds like a good thing to complain about.

Several UT recruits including Wilks and Poole may be better than their ranking.

I like to follow recruiting and the star system provides a scoreboard... but if you look at last year's class there are some notable 3* players that are contributing- Rogan and Frazier come to mind immediately. Frazier was a 2* for a long time last year if I remember correctly.

and i believe Chavis said that Frazier had potential to be the best LB he has ever coached...if i remember correctly.

The recruiting business will handle itself. How many coaches have been fired or will be fired? How many others will go to another school/pro? Some of these commits won't stay committed. We will get in on some that we aren't in on now. We may go JUCO. And a few of our current commits are very underrated.

Since when did Chavis ever say this?
thats great that he thinks of him that highly.. but over AL wilson, Mayo, and all of them.. GEEZ

Im guessing he forgot about Al Wilson for a minute. I cant see Frazier willing us to a NC. Time will tell, you never know.

UT has plenty of depth at LB and TE. Not sure what UT's biggest need is this year. Maybe OT and DT?
