19th best class even with Hunter on the list? also only shows 15 commits? did we lose anyone else? I notice Jacques is not onthe list either. are they not counting him now that he has enrolled?

Hunter hasn't been added to the commit list, and Thompkins was finally scratched from the list which should have been done several days ago.

OK now he's on the list, but you have to give them some time to update the rankings. The rankings do not include Hunter ATM.

Don't know exactly who has come off from yesterday when we were 13th without Hunter, the jc wide reciever is no longer listed so he is definately one - don't know his status and I am not sure who else they removed. Perhaps the wr from Ga.

The old ranking already showed the Ambles decommitment but hadn't factored in losing Thompkins. All that is lacking in the ranking is the Hunter commitment.

does anybody know what the deal with thompkins is.i mean, like he has signed a loi.so he can not sign with another school unless ten. Gives him a release.at lease that is my understanding.

I think that we go to 17th once Hunter is factored in.

Hard to move up when the schools above you have 26 and 27 recruits.

Just passing on from some other threads.....Thompkins reportedly, never graduated from JUCO, so he couldn't have enrolled in school here.

This. His LOI means diddly squat because he didn't get himself eligible to EE.

We just jumped all the way back down to 13 with the addition of Hunter! Wow!!

Makes sense...

We lose a 5.9 four star WR (Thompkins) then add a 5.9 four star WR (Hunter)...unless other teams made moves we should have ended back at 13...

I think we've seen the last of the fluctuations in our overall ranking that stem from X leaving...all the guys listed on Rivals as committed are solid IMO

Okay, I thought we were at 16 before Thompkins was removed. That does make sense then. I also believe we have lost all we are going to from the loss of X. Now, if we can just add 10 or so, which will be difficult, we are in good shape, IMO.

I predict that Tennessee signs at least 9 more players in Rivals top 250. Book it!!! GBO!!!:clapping:

we are ****ed for at least 2 years, no other way to look at it

2010 was going to be a down year even if X had stayed. If we go to a bowl game next year (ANY bowl game), I would consider Dooley's first year a success.

Dooley will get some back and bring in a few suprises. Be funny if we end up in front of USC.:dance2:
