Buzz: Thompson and Jim Chaney were both instrumental in helping Tennessee keep its class mostly intact after Lane Kiffin left for USC. They both also played a huge role in Tennessee keeping all eight early enrolles. Thompson also recruited four-star prospects in running back Rajion Neal and offensive lineman Jawuan James. Athlete Marcques Dixon, defensive end Martaze Jackson, and linebacker John Propst are all three-star prospects who were recruited by Thompson.

L.Thompson does a great job, however if you look at his past coaching resume he never stays at a college more than 1-2 years tops except the 1st year he started coaching. This is his 2nd year with us so stay tuned after next year, hopefully he will stay and likes living in Knox Vegas. :good!:

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't have a long list of defensive coordinator offers next season.
