hard to believe that OC Brown is a 4 star

Are you implying he should be higher or lower? I saw him play in person this past Fri. & Sat. against good competition and he was totally dominant. He runs a 5.0 forty, and is very agile. They pull him a lot and he will be the lead block and farther down the field than anybody. He's a beast and a great kid..."yes sir, no sir". He pancakes everyone! They also had him on the DL at tackle and end! He is that fast and agile...a 315 lb. rush end. He REALLY likes LSU but said he is considering TN, for what it's worth.

our problem is that when i look at the other state rankings a team from that state, usually the best one, is dominant, especially in the top ten,and right now we dont have more commits than everyone. we have the same @ of commits as lsu, bama(who has made it a priority to raid the state of tenn), and west virginia. however when i look at alabama stae rankings bama and auburn dominate. in louisiana lsu dominates. texas= texas dominates. and so on and so forth. so much for a fence

They haven't done a good job with the fence but that may have honestly been to make fans happy. They didn't go after Brunetti hard, Stone undecided, then obviously Jac, I don't think the staff likes Keiwone Malone or OC Brown, and I'm not sure some many more are good enough to play for tennessee. Obviously guys like Darkwa, Keon Williams, CClemmons, JDuke, Jones are getting major D1 looks and offers but guys like these UT is screwing themselves over. Its just crazy they offer an odd 187 people and guys like Keon, Clemmons, Jones, Duke, Darkwa don't get offered. Kinda bothers me you'd offer a kid from Kansas (random ex.) and have a kid similar with similar ability here that bleeds orange and let them slip away.

That is because he has impressed people in camps but pretty much all the teams wanted to see him play again before they offered. You can pretty much book it if he plays in the season like he did at camps he will be 4* and will have some major offers. From everything I've heard he's tore up the camps and his sparq score is better than some of the top ten backs.

I guess I am just a little biased because we scimmage red bank and he could not run it on us and ooltewahs coaches do not think that highly of him but they could be wrong and they also think that Michael Bowman wont amount to anything

We offer the in-state kids that are good enough to play for UT, and it is too bad for the rest.

Face it, TN does not have alot of in-state talent and our coaches are trying to build a national championship contender. If that means you have to go out-of-state to get the talent required to do so, why would any UT fan be upset by that?

I'm upset because the coaches from some different people (not just concerning one but multiple kids) don't give everyone a fair look at camps and stuff. They're focused on kids like Stone who got an MVP award at the camp for getting burnt every play. Yes he might have went up against better DLine talent, but give other guys chances to prove themselves. I love just about everything the coaches have done so far. But there are some little things I don't like about what they've done so far.

How do you know?

If they are there, and they are performing, then they get a look. Sadly, the very huge majority of TN HS football players are not good enough to play championship level football in the SEC.
