we're going to be making a big push for several of these guys in the next few weeks and months.

Out of all those Ray Ray Armstrong I get really excited about. I want a guy on the team whose name is Ray Ray

I want Marlon Brown so bad. I think it will take him awhile to adjust to the level of play but he could be a superstar after a year in the system.

I want Marlon to come just b/c we need to keep our instate guys instate, but I won't be broke up about him leaving. I learned the hard way with Turner...I won't do that again. Honestly, I want a lot of defensive players now. We've done a good job so far with the offense. We need some Gabe Lynn and Davenport and such.

Marlon Brown is going to be tough. I think we're in his top two right now with UGA being the leader. Austin Long is supposedly working on him pretty hard along with Aaron Murray.

Should be interesting.

No way UGA is leading. What makes you think that?

It seems to be pretty common knowledge that UGA is going after him hard and they are at or near the top of his list. Austin Long was quoted as saying he wasn't going to stop talking about Georgia with Brown until he became a Bulldog.

The Ohio State board had a recent thread about Brown a few days ago and many of them were saying it was a "done deal" that he would be a Bulldog.

I don't think it's a "done deal." Just saying that we better pick it up out in Memphis since we have been slacking of late.

He was quoted the other day as saying that he was visited by tennessee and georgia and that Searls was the coach from Georgia but he couldn't remember the name of the UT coach.... not proof that GA leads but it puts a doubt or two in your mind

I haven't heard anything of that nature. I have heard we lead but mostly because he has been here the much and we are the instate school. Many kids say they are going to recruit others but do you really think that matters? Stokes was talking about recruiting certain people but they up and commit to other teams shortly after. I just wouldn't put much stock in a kid who says he's going to try and recruit other players.

He knows our coaches names. You have to take in account that it was written on an UGA site. I wouldn't take that comment for more than a grain of salt.

That's a bit negative. We have a realistic chance with a decent portion, and things can change very much in the next 8 months.

True, many have mentioned us but we by no means have the inside track with many of those guys. Brown and giles are about it.

I know for a fact that marlon is in constant contact with the UT coaching staff and that as of right now we are his leader

westside, I like Volquest very much too, but please stop acting like you aren't just spewing what they've said. I usually always give credit to where I get info. What you said about Marlon Brown was said by Hubbs or Price at VQ in the last 10 days.
