I don't think the beer is free. I don't go to redneckbend, I just know about all everything associated with it from interning at BCBS.

No s**t it ain't free. I thought he was suggesting that there was gonna be free beer given out one night or at a particular location as some kind of promotion.

all riverbend is is a bunch of hairy backs who swarm from the woods to watch a bunch of crap in the miserable heat. not to mention the flood of teens all standing around trying to be cool. all riverbend does is crap up the roads for a couple of weeks. every now and then they have a decent band show up, but far too much garbage to make it worth while in spending any sort of money there. if you want i can tell you how i really feel. :)

This is prolly one of the worst Riverbend lineups ever. Traditionally the lineup is mediocre at best but this year is unbearable. Just a bunch of old white people who pick who they think will be best. The only acts they bring that still have a career are country acts. With all that said, this is going to be the first year since I can remember that I am not going to RB.

You could not pay me any amount of money to go sit in that mess. I have not attended since I was in high school and was hunting poon.

Sweltering heat + Terrible Bands + Rednecks looking to fight + Stupid Cops + No parking + Long walks = me not going.

I was just thinking about that. That is about the only act this year that I would like to see. Even if it just for kicks.

I wouldnt mind seeing darius rucker, but the fact that i will want to drink, and that i will run into bookoos of students, plus not to mention everything that has gone on with teachers and accusations and what not in this areas, i prefer to stay under the radar in public

Drivin n Cryin is also a band I would like to see again. Havent seen them since the late 90's. When I saw them last I remember them to be pretty good. However I was visiting my brother down at ua and saw them at the tusk and I was pretty smashed that night.

Yeah Riverbend is a festival that makes you say "Ohhh yeaahhh" when they announce bands. I either say that or "They still tour??"

I never saw them at Flamingo's when I was in Knoxville. Pretty funny that I went all the way to Tuscaloosa to see them play when they were in Knoxville the whole time:)
