Road Woes

How do you explain the last 6-7 years. I understand the teams we played this year but you cannot ignore the fact that we have not beaten a reputable SEC opponent on the road since 2006.
And if you read the entire thread I said I think the reason we have struggled is the youth on this team.

I'm gonna be honest, and this isn't directed personally at you... IDGAF about the last 6-7 years. Those carpet-munchers are gone. This game happened tonight, the losses I mentioned happened this year. They are relevant now. Losing to South Carolina 2 years ago is IRRELEVANT to this team. 110% irrelevant.

I understand and was being ugly just thought it was worth discussing our struggles on the road the last few years.

I only thought we would beat Kentucky on the road this season.

I can certainly understand the frustration with how we've lost, but it's just mind blowing that after we beat south carolina, some people thought we were just going to walk into Columbia, Missouri and beat them by double digits. And now people think we're going to beat Auburn next week... Some people, and unfortunately the majority of our vocal fanbase, just don't use logic.

At the beginning of the season it was all about "Tennessee hasn't beaten a ranked team in 4 years." As SOON as we do that, people immediately move on to the "Tennessee hasn't beaten a decent SEC team on the road in 6 years." Butch has accomplished more than Kiffin or Dooley put together in a little over a half a year, has a consensus top 5 recruiting class, strongly addressing our defensive needs, and yet, we're still not sure about him.

It's retarded.
