and Lofton was two time all state receiver, he aint going out for the football team any time soon, the guy hasnt played bball in a few years, it'd take him till near the end of a season to get his feel back for playing in a game situation, bad idea especially with the talent Pearl is bringing in next year.

I wouldn't turn down anyone for this season, just to add to our depth.

jmx, matt has a point, there is a huge difference between football and basketball shape, especially with Pearl's up and down the court style.

I would love to see Meacham come in and give some minutes, when they hit the SEC, they're gonna know what it feels like to be tired.

If he could just stand there and foul for 5 minutes, it would help out.

Meachem looked a little winded and slow on his 50 yard TD run against KY. I doubt he could hang.

He doesn't need to worry about anything right now other than sitting in meeting rooms with his new OC to straighten this offense out for next year.

Better yet, a hand transplant. His old ones would go great in a rock gardon.

Lofton was an allstate WR and Jujuan Smith is a better WR/DB as they have now. Didn't play his Sr year to concentrate on B-ball. Maybe Phil and Bruce could do some swapping.
