does anybody think he is playing bad on purpose, he is putting forth very little effort and has already cost us 14 points.

i don't know he really doesn't seem to be putting forth his best effort. could be just abad day, but something doesn't seem right.

There's no way he's playing down. We are just a couple of inches off every big pass play.

i wouldn't have brought it up, but after he didn't lay out for the one and the other should have been caught. i just don't know i guess i expect more from our best reciever.

It's a timing thing , Ainge is just an inch or 2 off and the reciever is a half step slow, just be patient!

Yeah but not every pass is going to be right on target. You get it that close, it should be caught, PERIOD.

I'm with you OWB. Same thing against SC. A couple of those deep ones have looked nice, and ripe for the picking by a hungry receiver. Ours just don't seem to want to eat.

Here's what I noticed...ND players were catching the ball in the air, on the ground, fighting players off almost standing on their heads :tease2: . UT players were missing balls just off their finger tips and balls that were right between the 1-9 were hitting them in the chest. Point is receivers are suppose to catch the ball with people around them and catch them with their hands. That is just poor coaching and nothing more. :banghead: Just think back to the two groups of receivers you saw today. Who made the catches that impressed you the most?

I would have to go with the Smirnoff guy and Bubba the TE. ND has some tall receivers with good hands. ND is just a solid team, they're not the best but they're solid. When solid teams play sound football, it usually ends up as a win.

That long haired Sz,fhfsjkzflzf..ski guy. I really hate him right now.

Pray he doesn't show up at my place looking for directions.

I got a set of clippers and a hatred of domers. :biggrin2:

It drove me insane watching him beat his. I just know what the mystery was, if 83 wasn't open, ND offense went down the tubes. Couldn't we have just put 2 guys playing man on him the whole game?

Let's not talk about it. The more I think about it, the more I hate him.

My Mom told me it's not good to hate. But I really think I hate him. :banghead:

Well we have to give him credit, he's a good player. Ok, now we can hate on him.

Just to reprise a point we've moved past but I'm too obnoxious to let go without commenting on- Meachem failed to dive for the first long ball, but dived for others. I was pissed about the first one, but the next pass that went to him was a dive for a 1st, and the one after that was way overthrown.

Meachem failed big time on the first overthrown ball because he maybe could've might've caught it if he sold out for the ball. That said, after that pass, Meachem didn't fail for wimping-out.

In fact, though our recievers blew some catches after that, they blew them because apparently their hands are teflon and their brains jello, not for lack of putting their bodies out.

I would like to sentence him to a year of playing on our offense. That'll teach him. :focus:

Geez OWB- no need to go pervert on us.

If you're really that mad just go for something simple- like discovering he's Rush Limbaugh's love-child.
